My longtime pal Andrea Wolper and I teamed up this past summer for the ongoing Jazz Series curated by Ben Cassara, at one of NYC's most charming music rooms. The night went well, so we're doing another. There will be a few duets, as well as taking solo turns, with the help of John Di Martino on piano and Ken Filiano on bass.

My weekly radio show on WFDU 89.1 FM celebrating music and lyrics by women began its fifth year on the air back in February. The Fairleigh Dickinson campus has finally opened, as has the radio station. However, the show will continue to be prerecorded remotely and air on Sundays 3pm ET streaming on their HD2 channel - just go to http://www.wfdu.fm and click on “Listen to HD2”, you’ll be given a player for your device and will hear the channel instantly. There's also a free app you can download for both iPhone and Android. The program is called A Broad Spectrum and offers up an assortment of music by Women - Writers, Composers, Instrumentalists and Vocalists (yes, there will be airplay of male artists too, in the Honorable Men-tion slot). Hope you can tune in. As of June 4 there is a NEW procedure to access archived shows. Go to - http://www.wfdu.fm and click on HD2 Archives. There is a drop down menu for you to select “SHOW”. Click on it and drop down to Broad Spectrum. You’ll be able to listen anytime you wish, or go check out Mixcloud, which now has A Broad Spectrum page here - https://www.mixcloud.com/ABroadSpectrum

On April 10th at noon I will be speaking on a panel with two WHRV FM radio hosts that I have long admired--Jae Sinnett and Jack Frieden--as part of the Vocal Jazz Summit festivities at Zeiders American Dream Theater in VA Beach. The Summit starts April 8th and will feature Grammy nominated vocalist Kurt Elling plus performances by Alexis Cole, Rene Marie, Samara Joy among others, with workshops and masterclasses scheduled alongside nightly jams. Will be a great weekend of jazz. There is also the option to attend virtually, so check out the link and join the party.

Cool Fall Nights Jazz Series

Pangea, 178 Second Ave bet. 11th/12th Street, New York

Our last appearance at Pangea was an evening of dark art songs by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller back in March of 2020, a week before the city shut down. I am thrilled to return to this beloved and magic space as part of Ben Cassara's ongoing jazz series with John di Martino on piano, Sara Caswell on violin, Ari Roland on bass and Carmen Intorre on drums. As the world begins a new chapter where nothing is as it was, we'll explore what’s ahead with music by Melba Liston, Leonard Cohen, Fran Landesman, Andre & Dory Previn and more.

Mary Foster Conklin

The Rainbow Project is a new collaboration that includes John diMartino on piano and Sara Caswell on violin. Just before the pandemic the three worked together on a unique catalogue of Leiber and Stoller songs. As the world begins a new chapter where nothing is as it was, they reunite to explore what’s ahead with music by Melba Liston, Leonard Cohen, Fran Landesman and more.

$25.00 - proof of one of the following: vaccination, anti-body test, or recent negative covid test (within 72 hours).
